We would love you to get involved in the project through a regular monthly commitment. This helps us build a sustainable model that can spread to love of making across South Africa.

What we expect from our members:

1. You are part of a community, be aware of how your actions affect other people. So please:
   1. be kind,
   2. clean up after yourself (and others)
   3. ask for help rather than breaking the tools,
   4. be generous.
2. We trust you, please don’t steal or take advantage of us.
3. Get involved in the community, promote the MakerSpace project.

What to expect as a member:

1. To always be treated in a friendly and respectful manner.
2. Access to the facilities and equipment in line with your payment option.

Membership costs and benefits:

You will need to complete the Signup form. All new members receive:

• • 1 Hour intro to laser course
  • Safety Induction
  • Access to Shared files
  • Installation of “software for makers”
  • Our gratitude

Individual Annual Membership R600 per year, access to space during business hours, use of machines at the set hourly rate, additional training at R300 per hour.

Couples Annual Membership R1000 per year, access to space during business hours, use of machines at the set hourly rate, additional training at R300 per hour.

Family Annual Membership R1500 per year, access to space during business hours, use of machines at the set hourly rate, additional training at R300 per hour.

Occasional Co-worker R500 per month, access to space during business hours no more than one day a week, internet access, hot desk workspace, use of machines at the set hourly rate.

Co-working space R1500 per month, access to space during business hours, internet access, hot desk workspace, use of machines at the set hourly rate.

What is co-working at the makerspace?

If you plan to use the workspace without machine usage, for more than 8 hours per month (you will need to register for co-working space)
